Ivan Dimitrov, Bulgarian by birth but now a Bolognese in all respects, has long found inspiration for his works of art in the physical conformation of the city. His porticoed urban landscapes are famous, highlighting, in the use of colors, the warm and earthy atmospheres of the typical plasters of the city.
During the Christmas holidays and until January 6th, the 'Possati' exhibition hall of the Baraccano will host a large number of pieces that highlight the artist's Nativity scene genre. There are some never displayed works and numerous ensembles for a total of over 300 figures in polychrome terracotta.
The exhibition, with free admission, is curated by Maria Gabriella Milani (Studio Santo Stefano Gallery), and organized by the AICS Association and the Studio Santo Stefano Gallery, with the collaboration of the Municipality of Bologna and the patronage of the Santo Stefano district.
Opening hours: weekdays 9:30-12:30 and 15:00-18:00; holidays 9:30-12:30 and 14:30-19:00
Christmas Day and New Year's Eve: 9:30-12:30 and 15:00-19:00
