On Saturday 17 December, the redeveloped premises of the Treno della Barca were showcased in the presence of the Mayor. The ground floor premises were renovated thanks to the FESR European funds of the Pon Metro 2014-2020 and then assigned through a public call to organisations and associations in the field of creativity, innovation and urban regeneration. This was the first opportunity to present the project and the activities that will be implemented starting from January 2023. Hopefully this is also the starting point of a process of mutual understanding with the community, aiming to imagine together the new spaces and projects that will liven up the Treno della Barca.
A guided walk under the Treno porticoes, inscribed on the World Heritage List, explored and described the new 'tenants' and their spaces under construction: Spazio SALTO, Sayonara Film, Insight APS, the Federation of Filipino associations of Bologna, Caracò, Hayat, Collettivo VERSO.
