RAINBO - React to extreme weather events with promptness and efficiency

The project is the follow-up of BLUEAP, a previous European project ended in 2015 with the setting up of a Climate Adaptation Plan for the City of Bologna. Its objective is to reach a better knowlegde, implement more advanced methods against extreme weather events, so as to react with promptness and efficiency,
By providing special risk maps including territorial and census data, an advanced infrastructure for constant environmental monitoring as well as an adequate software platform to integrate data and models will be implemented.
