LAIKA – Local Authorities Improving Kyoto Actions

The project aims at proving that local authorities are able to adopt effective harmonised methods of accounting, planning and reporting in projects dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The specific objectives of the project are to establish a basis for the GHG inventory, and to fix - at the municipal level – a specific goal regarding these gas emissions, defining actions and measures for achieving such a goal.
