From the 5th to the 17th of November 2013 in the Manica Lunga of Palazzo d'Accursio, the exhibition "Europe of rights" took place with drawings and comments strictly concerning the character of the "Charter of the Fundamental Rights of the European Union." The event, promoted by the Member of the European Parliament Vittorio Prodi, was presented on the occasion of the European Year of Citizens in collaboration with the Europe Direct of the Emilia-Romagna region and the european information desk from the city of Bologna. The exhibition showed issues related to the rights of European citizens, the dignity of the person, freedom and solidarity as well as work and justice. On the 9th and the 15th of November, two seminars for high school students were also included with the following speakers: Marco Lombardo, PhD in EU law; Matteo Festi, an expert in civil and immigration law; Barbara Forni, functionary of the European Parliament - Office in Milan; Antonio Mumolo and Constantine Giordano, President and Secretary of the "Lawyer of the road" association. Vittorio Prodi moderated the conference by giving introduction to the topics and presenting the speakers.
