On November 16, 1972, the General Conference of UNESCO adopted the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Thus the World Heritage List was born, which reflects the richness and diversity of the cultural heritage of the whole world, to protect the legacy of the past to be transmitted to future generations. The University of Bologna celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Convention with a series of scientific and educational initiatives in all its MultiCampus locations, in collaboration with the main local institutions.
