The results of the digital survey and restoration laboratory of the internal façade of the portico in via Saragozza, from Arco Bonaccorsi to Meloncello, will be displayed in an exhibition that opens on Saturday December 18th at 10 am, in Manica Lunga at Palazzo d'Accursio.
The project, part of the Management Plan of I Portici di Bologna, included in the World Heritage List, is an initiative of Liceo E.Renzi - Scuole Maestre Pie of Bologna, RAB Studio Architecture and Lions Club Bologna San Luca, supported by the Municipality of Bologna by a collaboration agreement.
The project involved a group of students from the 5th grade of the Liceo Scientifico Elisabetta Renzi and from the 2nd and 3rd grades of the junior high school, led by tutors, professors Romeo Pauselli and Anna Maria Ragazzini. After carrying out the on-site survey of plants and elevations and the photographic survey of the portico, the students created a perspective rectification and a photo mosaic of the images which formed the basis for the digital restoration of the portico.
The exhibition will be open until December 23rd.
